Please review the following page which gives general information about Granite Knitwear, Inc. We were established by Frank and Mary Jones in 1968. We are a knitwear manufacturer of Men's, Women's & Children's Sportswear capable of contract cut and sewing and full package manufacturing (where we provide the finished garment) of the following products:

• T-Shirts Coverstitched and/or Covertaped Necks, Single & double needle hemmed sleeves. Single needle bottom hemmed on all sizes. 2 needle hemmed bottoms on  youth small thru adult 3X. Finishes 1"
• set-in and Raglan sleeves
• "V" necks are offered in mitered or lap-over. Finished widths can be 1/2", 3/4" or 1 inch
• Side Seamed or tubular knit fabric.
• Pocket Sizes:  T-shirt pocket  5 point  4 3/4" x 5 3/8" Square Pocket  6" x  6" All Pockets have fusible 1" lining for a reinforced Top hem.
• Mock turtle neck finishes 2 inches. Turtle neck is 5 inches, folded down to 2 1/2 inch finish. We have folders for other sizes.
• Placket Henleys: Produced with Alan Soli placket, measures 1 1/2" wide x 6 1/2" long. 3
button placket with single needle top stitching available to enhance appearance. Placket can be "boxed" "x-boxed" or single needle stitched to finish bottom blocking of placket.

The fabrics we generally have either in stock or available fairly quickly.

• Textured Fabrics, Stripes and Solids, jersey in various blends, 7.75 fleece, French terry, 1 x 1 rib, Cool Max Extreme jersey and Dri-Release.

Basic tees- 500/week

Rompers with snaps: 100 dozen/week

Shorts: 150 dozen/week. Set-in side pockets are available on all shorts and pants. Set-on 6"x 6" back pockets available  for shorts.

Sweat Shirts: 250 dozen/week

Sweat  & Capri Pants: 200 dozen/week

Tank Tops: 600 dozen/week. Tank Top self or rib trim binding finishes 1/2" for neck and armhole. Sorry, no ability  to hem without binding.

Henley 3 Button Placket Shirt:        150 dozen/week   Available in Solids, Textures, Matching or Contrasting Placket with flexibility in the length of the placket, the number of buttons and  whether it is a men's or  women's opening.

Dress T :  500 dozen/week Beach "cover-up"  with 1 or 2 Large Pockets      Production Capability:   200 dozen/week

Many Custom Styles also available upon request. We also provide in-house care label printing and private label packages.

Additional costs for custom styles- Cost to make patterns is billed at $50 for the first size & $25 for each size there after. Samples of custom styles are billed at time and materials. (9/05) If we can't do patterns and markers for you there are several independent companies that will. Go to  www.seams.org and there are few listed there. Please allow at least a minimum of two weeks to turn samples if the fabric is available.

We offer custom packaging of your product including individual polybagging. We can apply bag or carton stickers and also offer bar-coded shipping labels and can coordinate screen-print and embroidery services and apply heat transfers.

We are seasoned professionals with many years of experience. We can turn goods in 3 to 8 weeks and strive to provide you with a Quick Response to your needs.

We work with small, varied lot sizes as well as large production runs.
